With Dang Shen, for Qi Deficiency with general debility, anorexia, fatigue, tired extremities and spontaneous sweating.
Rx. Codonopsis Dang Shen 20g Tonifies the Middle Jiao, augments Qi, nourishes the Blood and promotes the generation of Body Fluids.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 15g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, reduces swelling and alleviates pain.
With Huang Qi, for Qi and Blood Deficiency.
With Chuan Xiong, harmonizes, nourishes and invigorates the Blood and disperses Blood Stasis.
Rz. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 15g Invigorates the Blood, promotes the movement of Qi and alleviates pain.
With Huang Qi and Di Long, for numbness of the limbs.
Hirudo Shui Zhi 9g Breaks up and drives out Blood Stasis.
Pheretima Di Long 9g Drains Heat, settles convulsions, extinguishes Wind, promotes movement in the channels and collaterals and stops spasms.
With Huang Qi, Dang Gui, Chuan Xiong and Hong Hua, for hemiplegia or hemiparesis following Wind-Stroke.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 9g Invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis, relieves pain, reduces swelling, clears Heat and cools the Blood.
With Chuan Xiong and Dang Gui, for trauma induced pain.
Fr. Aurantii Immaturus Zhi Shi 9g Breaks up Stagnant Qi, descends Qi, reduces accumulation, unblocks the bowels and removes Stagnant Food.
With Chen Pi, strengthens the Middle Jiao.
Per. Citri Reticulatae Chen Pi 9g Regulates Qi, descends Qi, adjusts the Middle and relieves the diaphragm.
